Benefits: This is a whole body stretch - legs, chest, throat, and arms. Great stretch for the hip flexors. 

How it's done:

  • It is important to have mastered the backbend before attempting this pose as great back flexibility is required. 
  • It is very helpful to make sure your quadriceps (thighs) are stretched out before this pose.
