You Won't Have To Lug Around A Big Mat
Paws-abilities Are Endless For Family.

When Jamie Getzwiller decided to help her mother shoot a yoga workout video, she also wanted to help her father show off his Navajo rugs, which the yoga participants in the video would be practicing their yoga on.
Instead of having the participants use a typical yoga mat, which would block most of the rugs, the Getzwiller's came up with Yoga Paws, a lightweight glove for the hands and feet made out of the same material as a yoga mat.
The video was shot nearly two years ago and the Yoga Paws have been selling ever since, said Getzwiller, the vice president of YogaSyz which produces the product.
The Arizona- based company has offices in San Diego.
Getzwiller, who also practices yoga, said the company has sold about 2,000 paws since its inception and is hoping to increase sales with the launch of a nationwide marketing campaign in January.
"They have been really well received" Getzwiller said, "especially since we haven't had any major public relations done yet."
Getzwiller said she hopes yoga students will see the benefit in being able to practice without having to carry a large, cumbersome mat.
"You don't have to lug around a big mat." Getzwiller said "it is a lot easier to pack four little paws. It's a great replacement for a mat"
